The Attoplasmas project brought together six researchers, with expertise in the the ultrafast atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) physics and plasma physics, from two faculties affiliated with the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Physics and School of Electrical Engineering.

Our team

The project is based at the Faculty of Physics and led by Dr. Predrag Ranitović who has 17 years of experience developing state-of-the-art attosecond (ATTO) and strong-field ionization (SFI) techniques in AMO and CM physics at universities and user-facilities.

The rest of the team, led by professor Milorad Kuraica, head of the plasma-physics group, has more than 30 years (combined) of state-of-the-art plasma research. Over the years we have developed a wide-range of plasma sources and plasma diagnostic tools that are available in the lab.

We are looking forward to new Masters and PhD students to join our team and obtain competence in attosecond physics and plasma physics.
