Our team

The main goal of our ATTOPLASMAS project is construction of a laser-driven Attosecond VUV-XUV-SXR Beamline for Ultrafast Spectroscopies of Electron Dynamics in Gases and Plasmas.

The beamline would allow for time-resolving fundamental phenomena underlying ultrafast, coupled electron and nuclear wave-packet dynamics in gases and plasmas that would fully utilize the advantage of broadband attosecond photon sources, which possess, simultaneously, excellent temporal and spectral resolution.

Combining attosecond spectroscopy techniques, ultrafast mid-IR lasers and plasma experimental techniques will lead to opening new possibilities to study ultrafast electron dynamics in plasmas on few-fs and attosecond time scales. We are using experimental setup and techniques to pursue the most excited science and to initiate a collaboration of physicist, chemist, engineers and theorist interested in ultrafast laser phenomena.
